We often see tension headaches with pain referring to the top of the head, behind the eyes, or the temples. These kinds of headaches are often caused by poor posture, chin jutting, jaw clenching, tight neck and shoulder muscles, and weak muscles on the front of the neck. At Urban Wellness Clinic, we give patients the tools to retrain their posture to reduce headaches symptoms including: stretching and strengthening exercises, a short yoga routine, a home massage program, and a nutrition program to reduce any food triggers.
