What is golfer’s elbow?

Golfer’s elbow is identified as pain on the inside part of the elbow, causing discomfort from the forearm through the wrist. This condition is known as Golfer’s elbow because it often occurs when using a golf club. It can also occur when lifting weights, squeezing a ball of any kind, or swinging a racket.

What are the symptoms of golfer’s elbow?

Numbness extending from the forearm through the fingers, soreness on the inner part of the elbow, stiffness when extending the arm, and loss of strength in the hands.

How do we treat golfer’s elbow?

Since golfer’s elbow is categorized as a soft tissue injury, we recommend using the RICE method to ease pain and discomfort, along with stretching and stretching exercises for the forearm muscles to strengthen the elbow and the surrounding area, increase flexibility, and improve range of motion.
